He can see the corn moving, but little else.
Lucas follows them.
Now a ways behind the others, Lauren turns back up the walkie-talkie. Static hisses from the speaker, and she waits tensely for someone to start speaking. A moment passes. Two.
“Come on. Please?” The machinery shows no response to her pleas. “Oh fine, you dumb relic.” She clips it onto her pocket, jogging to catch up with the others.

“Oooooh I wonder what spooky things are hiding and making that noise.” He said sarcastically.
“A clown” Lucas says “Just a guess”
A creepy giggle comes from the other side of the path.
“Yup it’s a clown,” Lucas keeps walking.
“The heck? Why even?”
“neat, let’s hope it looks scary”
“Let’s hope what looks scary?” Lauren asks, catching up to the group.
“the thing that’s probably about to jump out at us”
“I mean, they did a good job with the fake blood…” she supplies, looking around into the corn around her.
