I’ve actually found some really cool community servers which are corrupt admin, ad and plugin free, and are specifically supposed to be as similar to the old pubs as possible. If you want to join these servers, type tfcrew or gameshock into the server browser.

Haven’t played since Overwatch, but that’s horrible. I wish we could just have a pub mode if that’s the case.
They added map picking… yay…
In all honesty, just use community servers. GameShock and Skial’s are some of the best and really feel like the old pubs.
EDIT: I had an epiphany. Can someone set up a server so we can have a TF2 Game Night?

Over 4100 hours in tf2, not too many unusuals, but innumerable good times.
tf2 never gets old.

How did I not realize this topic existed for all this time.
I play a lot of classes, but main Engineer. I will also play Heavy, Soldier, Pyro, and Sniper when the need arises, though I am very capable of playing Demoman, Medic, or Spy if need be. I almost exclusively don’t play Scout, no reason, I just never do.
My favorite weapon has to be the Widowmaker. It’s just… so good. I also enjoy the Panic Attack, and I find shotguns in general to be very fun.
My favorite hat that I own is probly Ellis’ Hat. There’s something so simple and charming about it, even if I have other hats that are much nicer.
I have over 200 hours played according to Steam, though I think that might be wrong, because I remember it saying over 400 at one point.
I actually don’t care for unusuals or stranges, though I do have a Strange Pistol.
Typically I stick to Valve servers, because I just like playing the game for what it is.
I’ve only completed 1 MvM tour, and it was so long ago I don’t remember it. To be fair, most of my friends that play TF2 only play it on occasion these days.
My Steam is my name here. I shouldn’t be hard to find, considering I’m already friends with a bunch of people on the Boards, and part of the TTV Steam group.
