The Brotherhood Project
I can’t believe it’s already been almost four years since I started this project. And that only a about a week after I joined the TTV Message Boards and really discovered there was still an active Bionicle community. A week which as far as I remember I mostly spent contemplating the possibility to get a complete Brotherhood of Makuta together - and how, since it was clear I couldn’t do so myself in any reasonable amount of time.
In the end I decided to give it a try via a community MOC project - to find people who could help me achieve my vision of a complete Brotherhood of Makuta I had. And thanks to all of you who participated, thrugh your patience, willingness to contribute and continuous support this vision came true!
Thank you so much!
But there was more we achived than just this goal that once seemed almost impossible to reach. Looking at all the MOCs entered into this project, it’s apparent to me that content creators of all skill levels participated, and I’m happy I could give this variety of people the chance to contribute. I see a lot of people who gave their best then, and since have made tremendous progress in their MOCing skills, just like I feel I did.
Thank you again, and I hope the future provides you with ample opportunities to grab your parts and build more MOCs!
And now to what you’ve actually been waiting for ;):
I present to you - the full Brotherhood of Makuta - 100 (-1) MOCs.
(Sadly, the original pictures of Jsasax and Krika were lost. Fortunately I had already drawn Jsasax way back, so I put in my drawing as a replacement - the original was more hunchbacked and had a tail and no cloak, though. For Krika I used my revamp.)

Now, as frequently asked, what are my plans for the future regarding this project?

Drawings
I’ll definitely complete those. When? Can’t say. Compared to the other things below relatively soon, though, after all I only need to draw 9 more Makuta. As said multiple times before, I’m no artists, though, so don’t expect too much .

Book of the Brotherhood
65 entries are currently more or less done. Given other stuff I have to do and sometimes simply a lack of motivation, it will take some time until these are finished, though. I will finish them at some point, that I promise.

Revamps
This is pretty much the only part of the project where I can’t make any promises whatsoever. Presently there’s no reason in sight why I should stop building revamps, but it’s a slow process and who knows how it’ll be in five years? Or ten?
There’s also no plan to which Makuta I revamp when - I simply choose one I currently find interesting for one reason or another. Sometimes it’s also just based on a random design I MOC together or the parts I have lying around.
Keep an eye on The Antidermis Pool, my WIP topic for the revamps to stay up to date.

Future with RSG
All Brotherhhod Project Makuta are RSG canon which means any RSG material mentioning non-canon Makuta are referring to project Makuta. I’m personally participating in writing and worldbuilding in RSG and among other things am working on a series of short texts that should feature a few project Makuta.
As far as RSGs tabletop RPG, the Doronai Nui, goes, I’m not involved a lot, however. It seems to me like it’ll still take quite some time until any in-depth Makuta game mechaincs will be created, but who knows? An idea I have would be creating something similar to the Rahi manual, only for the Makuta - with defined stats, special abilities, etc. But like I said, I haven’t heard of anything concerning Makuta happening at the moment, so I really can’t say anything in that regard.
And… I think that’s pretty much everything?
If you have any questions still, feel free to ask them!
Which one is your favorite entry?
(I’m not sure about TTV’s policies regarding project topics, but I hope this one won’t be closed so I can keep you updated on progress on the things mentioned above.)
