Chapter 5………………
RaptorTalon felt the dry wind blow across his face as he walked down the Sorocian streets. he the wound in his leg had began to stop bleeding and his scratches had followed suit, he shook his head as he remembered the voice in his head that had sounded off minutes before. He ran his hand softly against the handle of his blaster, making certain that it was in still on place.
“So….come here often?” Dranix asked with a smile.
“No” RaptorTalon curtly replied
Dranix nodded and angled his head down as he began to whistle.
Flarus charged at Crimson with his blades at the ready, he sliced at the bounty hunter’s gut, only to find himself flying backwards. he hit the concrete with a thud as he landed on his back.
“This is my fight! and you’re all gonna die!” Crimson yelled as Magnum shot up and slammed his fist into Crimsons jaw with a crack.
“You have got it backwards, you son of a rust-bucket” Magnum snarled as he swept his leg under Crimson’s. The bounty hunter jumped over Magnum’s leg and slammed his foot into it.
“If I had fallen for that….I would have been dead A LONG time ago!” he chuckled as he sunk his blade into Magnum’s shoulder.
“AAAGGHHHHH!!!” the Hero commander yelled as he yanked the blade out and grabbed Crimson’s face with his free hand. Crimson whacked Magnum in the face with the back of his hand and kicked him into a car. Magnum wrapped his hand around the edge of the car and chucked it at Crimson’s chest, only to watch the murderous villain rip it in half with a yell. Crimson grabbed a piece of the scrap and swung it at Magnum’s head. the Hero sent his fist up and knocked the wind out of Crimson, sending him sprawling back with a cough. He glared at Magnum with eyes full of malice….
StingBlade huffed as he Viperex pulled him to his feet. he limped forward with pain in his optics as he walked. Viperex stared back with a look of concern as she put his arm over her shoulder and helped him to walk while staying off of his bad leg.
“Okay…so I want you to look at the ship” she said.
“You crazy? what will that do for me?” StingBlade growled
“Just look at it!”
“Fine!” he said with a whimper of pain.
“Now…grit your teeth”
StingBlade did so and nodded.
“Now we are going to get there…as fast as we can” Viperex said as she looked over and saw the young Hero shaking his head.
“We are as good as dead” he said as Teslor and Zappler charged out of a building.
“NO!” Viperex yelled. “RUN! I will hold them off!”
StingBlade nodded and limped to the ship as fast as he could.
Viperex drew her Katana and waved them in front of Zappler’s face, he jumped at her and was stopped by a sharp blade entering his gut. he howled in pain as she slashed his left eye and then ripped into his shoulder armor, leaving it exposed and vulnerable. Viperex noted this as she jumped onto his back and sliced his arm off. turning to Teslor, she whipped her blades around as she struck him in the side…
As RaptorTalon walked he heard a loud noise behind him, he spun around slowly as he saw a group of Kerosiians making themselves known.
