“There are more” he said pointing at two more hounds
“Hounds never roam alone” Henry said
Ideruba runs at a hound before Ike stops him and shoots a hound instead
The hound runs at Ikr but limps because of the shot
The other charges at him as well
Henry loads his gun
Lily panics and rolls away
Ike holds his knife and throws it at a hound
It slows down, but still alive
Henry shoots at a hound
Lauren pulls out a flare and shoots it at the hound. “Leaving sounds like a good idea.”

The Elevator opens
Henry goes in first

Lauren joins them, glancing behind them apprehensively.
Ike states to himself “The longer you stare into the abyss, the more it stares back at you.” They walk in
“Of course you would know that,” Lauren mutters.
“Is there a reason I would?”
“Because you’re you. Seems like a good enough reason for me.” She quickly presses the button for the top floor, hoping beyond hope that it’ll just work.
