Leonardo is unusually quiet to Ayet
Surius might detect something approaching nearby with his sensors.
Surius whips his head that way. “Possible intruder.” He says as he approaches that direction.
Atomba stalked up behind Jonathan silently.
Hydron checked the castle’s security feed, and found that it was indeed The Xir’algath. “They’re back.” He announced.
“We must move out.” Michael declared, as everyone began gearing up for battle.

The group heard a deep “thoom” as if something had burst out of the castle wall
Styrke summoned Skullbreaker to his hand, before leaving.
Hydron simply walked right out of the castle.
Eric grabbed several small bladed weapons, pulling his ninja mask over his face.
Jonathan donned his gear, loading and cocking his guns before kissing Martha on the cheek. “Goodbye, my love…” she whispered in his ear. Jonathan chuckled. “Don’t be silly dear, I’ll see you soon.” He said, and they kissed one more time before Jonathan departed.

Michael turned to Ciestaal and Surius.
“We must hurry.”
Both followed quickly, Surius shifting his arm into a laser cannon.
Together, The High Archangels and the group of warriors burst out of the castle, weapons ready.
“Keep your eyes peeled. Scan your environment.” Hydron to the others as he slowly walked.

Surius scans the area, looking around for anything hostile.
For a moment, the scene was very calm, still and quiet…
Almost too quiet.
In Surius’ peripheral vision, a black tentacle-like shape suddenly snaked away quickly.
Surius would immediately fire upon it.
The Xir’algath leapt out of the shadows, springing towards Surius.
Surius shifted his other arm into a blade and stabbed it at the head of the leaping Xir’algath
The Xir’algath suddenly stopped his approach when his head was stabbed. However, that wasn’t to say it was dead. Far from it.
The Xir’algath suddenly jolted up, and slashed at the arm that Surius had driven through him.
The arm was severed, but Surius used the other one, still a laser, to shoot at the head again, at almost point-blank range.
The Xir’algath’s body flew back from the blast. Just as Surius had vanquished this one, another quickly dove in and attempted to stab Surius’ chest.
Surius leaped back and fired again, his other arm starting to be rebuilt from seemingly nothing, small piece by small piece.
The Xir’algath dodged again, and slashed at Surius from the side.
