The First Resistance (RP topic)

Surius and Ciestaal followed along.

5 Months Later(Again)…

Much time had passed. By now, it seemed that The Resistance was chasing myths. Barely any leads on The Xir’algath had come up.

The Resistance had been pursuing The Xir’algath across the entire planet of Lamurix. They had temporarily lived from base to base.

It was now night, and the Resistance was inside their current base.
Jonathan seemed to be writing something at his desk. Some sort of letter…
He then glanced over at Surius, Ciestaal and Kyran to see what they were up to.

Kyran was holding his hands over what appeared to be a new staff. He had been working on a much more powerful staff over the previous months and was on the brink of completion.
He muttered spells as the staff glowed a brilliant rainbow color.

“How’s that coming along?” Jonathan asked.

Kyran looked up.
“Strenuously. But it nears completion.”

“Is there anything you need for it?”

“Time.” Kyran replied.

Jonathan nodded, then checking on Surius and Ciestaal’s activities.
@Runa

Surius would be patrolling around the building, making sure it was safe.

Meanwhile, Ciestaal was nowhere to be seen. He had been missing for months, in fact.

@Runa
Surius’ security sensors would suddenly be tripped. He would detect a large presence approaching the base, most likely malicious in mature.

@meepinater
Jonathan, Eric and Styrke looked outside the base.
“Oh my gods…” Styrke gasped under his breath.

Kyran glanced out as well.

Surius turned to it. “Hostile mass approaching.” He said, loud enough for the others to hear.

Michael’s expression turned grim when he saw the approaching Xir’algath army. The army was carrying some sort of large machine with them. “This is it. Let’s go.” He said.

Jonathan suddenly stood up, pocketing the letter he wrote.
“Point the way.” Said Jonathan. Styrke summoned Skullbreaker to his have, nodding in agreement.

“Prepare yourselves, warriors. This is the fight. You will need all your tools, are your skills, and all your powers for this.” Said Raphael, as he flew up and out of the base.

“I’m not ready, not ready yet.” Mumbled Kyran feverishly, returning to his work.

“We’ll hold them off and give you more time to complete the staff.” said Dr. Zed, as everyone ran out of the base.

“Please do. You won’t regret it.” Kyran replied, the ghost of a smirk crossing his face.

The group ran outside, facing the massive army of Xir’algath before them.
The High Council of Xir’algath faced the group of warriors. Even the Archangels felt slightly intimidated.
“What do you want? Why are you doing this to us, to this planet?!” Styrke demanded angrily.
Rahab chuckled.
Do you not see that this is for your own good? A few simple deaths are due to those who were not smart enough to stay out of our way.” he sneered.
Styrke’s grip on his weapon tightened.
“How could you say that?”

you would never understand…” said Phenex.
“-You’re just a mortal.
Michael stood there, slowly unsheathing his sword.
“Your forces may be large, but you can’t outmatched us.” Michael said, turning to his group.
“Divide and Conquer.” He commanded.

Surius stood back at first, forming material using his abilities of transmutation and using them to build something. Something large.

Kyran continued his work. He was on the brink of completion, and sweat was dripping from his brow.

Several Xir’algath started quickly scurrying towards Surius, attempting to reach him before he could finish constructing whatever it was.
They formed their arms into weapons, roaring as they continued the pursuit.
