That’s really a shame how he used dynamite.
why
why would you…
Because that’s how they did things back in the Victorian era.
I’ve developed an obsession with Ancient Rome and Byzantium.
I can’t stop looking up Scipio Africanus, Justinian the 1st and Belisarius.
I’ve developed an obsession with the Victorian Era and the Cold War.
I can’t help but enjoy reading of it.
I’ve developed an obsession about 17th century milling, corn, and the pilgrims.
It’s totally not because that’s what I talk about all day for my job.
You’re a teacher?
I hope not

Sounds more like a tour guide at a national park.
It’s closer to what 777 said. I talk with people about the site that I work at, though it’s a bit different from being a ‘tour guide’.
I’ve developed an obsession with building ziggurats.
Okay, it is bad that I enjoy learning about, and almost know more about Ancient Rome than my own country?
I wouldn’t say it’s bad, since Ancient Rome is quite fascinating. It’s actually climbing up as one of my favorite historical eras to learn about.
There’s also the added plus that people compare the US to Rome a lot.
Ugh, everytime I post a comment on a video about Rome, some guy comes and says “Huns beat Romans you suck XD” Then I reply with “No, the Romans beat the Huns. Look at the battle of Chalons” Then they repeat the first comment.
Iv’e begun to avoid YouTube when looking for historical discussion.

So this coming semester, I’m taking a course all about Thucydides.
I am hype
Bah. Herodotus was better.
dude fight me
Nah but seriously, what makes you like Herodotus better? Thucydides doesn’t have all that mythology junk.
Because Herodotus has all that mythology junk
but what about when you want actual history, not an account of Zeus’ love life?
