Ashley continued walking forward, undeterred by anything that might be waiting for them.
Something slithered in the shadows, but it’s probably Ashley’s imagination.
Or maybe not.
She paused, and sniffed the air to try and detect if there was anything there.
She wouldn’t smell any sign of life besides herself and the rest of the group.
She continued forwards, making sure she was ready for attack.
Trevor started humming to himself to lighten the mood. He hadn’t been in this dark of a corridor since his initiation into the Plague Doctor cult.
Ashley glanced around the hallway.
Glub simply clawed at his shackles with his prosthetic
Cydonia shattered his shackles with a single irritated stomp
I am getting some serious deja vu right now Trevor thought as he walked down the dark hall. Suddenly, an amalgam monster burst out from a vent in the ceiling screetching.
The monster scampered across the ceiling and dropped to the ground in front of the group.

Ashley shanked it with her screwdriver.
The monster was unpaved, almost as if it didn’t even notice. It swiped at Ashley with its claws.
She took the hit, and stabbed it again.
The monster cried out and spasmed.

The monster then moved away from Ashley, charging towards Runa.
She chased after it, and grabbed onto one of its legs.
The monster shook Ashley off its body, attempting to throw her into a wall.
a loud thud was heard before she fell to the ground.
The monster stood over Ashley. It prepared to stab down at her with its claws.
She tried to stab it in the throat with her screwdriver.
A brown fluid spilled out of the monster’s throat, spilling on aAshley’s face. It then collapsed on top of her, dead.
