We Bare Bears is supposed to be a thing to represent its time though.
I think it’s perfectly understandable to have those sort of references in WBB because of the tone and humor the show has set beforehand.

Apparently these sets numbers are close to the mini-doll line, meaning they might use the Friends set design aesthetics.
TBH I would buy some PPG sets if they were based on the old show and not the crappy reboot.
The leaked images shows that these sets are based on the reboot, the figures design still represent the OG counterparts and the only character that sticks out is the unicorn.

There is just something i don’t like about the figures. I think it might be the heads, having cartoon accurate heads on top of regular minifig bodies kind of looks weird to me.
