I’d be surprised if Bay actually touched the lore of Transformers instead of making something up like the last movie. If he does use the lore, then I hope this is about the Knights of Cybertron, which are a main plot point in the current comic series More Than Meets the Eye.

Hopefully with the influx of new writers this movie rises above those that came before it.
On the teaser, I suspect this will go into more detail about the Knights (aka Dinobots from AoE). Hesitantly excited to see more.
