Catina acted as if by involuntary reflex, and used her free hand to created an ice wall, which slowed down the blast long enough for her to duck, and only made her wince from the heat of it passing overhead.
Catina then raised her hand a second time, and ice started encasing The Sunblessed’s face. Giving Catina an opening to stand up again, and drive her sword into The Sunblessed’s throat. Then start pushing the sword through her neck, into the ground underneath her.
Catina followed William’s order and got her trusty old crossbow ready. She just needed to line up a shot through the versatiles.
