Far in the distant past, when humanity was young. Four sons of a powerful emperor struck out in four directions, each determined to find what they believed to be God.
However, each found a different Deity that warned them of the others, labeling them and their followers enemies. Striking East, the Eldest brother found a land totally devoid of sanity, and a god to match. The second eldest struck out due west, and came, to a heavily forested region on the other side of the globe. The God there was fair, and beautiful. The Second youngest, and by far the most rash, headed due north, determined to find the top of the world. He found a god as harsh and unforgiving as a Winter storm. The youngest coasted south, where he found an archipelago and a god who offered sweet promises of power. With the pawns thus set, the game was underway. Brutal warfare struck up between the brothers. Massive conflicts which decimated the lands on which they lived, and were the crucible in which four new empires were forged. To the North, the Winter Legion. To the West, the Dominion of Life. To the South, the Summer Armada. And finally, to the East, the Death Empire.
The Winter Legion is a northern Nation that values strength, and the power of Defense over Offence However, Commander Threnithal understands that strength alone cannot win a battle, so he has a special experiment in mind. Thus there is The Company of Hope, a special division within his army that incorporates fighting styles from across the world.

Short Sword, Hand and A Half Sword, Mage Sword, a light sword, single edged, perfect for when enemies sneak up before you have time to prepare magic. Sarnyosin Blades (Usable by Sarnyosin only), a heavy shield with a beveled cutting edge, used for both Defense and Offence. Sarnyosin Shields, similar to their blades, but larger, and meant to use as blunt force weapons.)

Gred: a gred is a Insectile Humanoid bearing 4 wings on their back, the eyes of the gred are multifaceted, like a fly's. The Gred posses a normal human mouth, but have no nose. The Gred's lower legs file down to points, it is a careful ballancing of the gred's weight, that allows them to stand on such small feet.
Sunthralli: A Sunthralli is a race very similar to humans, but much faster, and agile, though lacking in more martial prowess. A sunthralli has multitoned hair, and will never just have one colour. The usual number of Colours in Sunthralli hair is 3. Sunthralli have an extra joint in their lower leg, and one in their forearm. These joints are very strong, and aid in the speed and reaction time of the Sunthralli, with these, they can simply twitch this joint in their arm to send a blow flying.
Druth: Another kind of Insectile Humanoid, only it posseses 6 limbs instead of 4. The 6 limbs of these creatures are niether arms nor legs, but rather both simultaneously, and can be used as either should a situation call for such
The druth have a fairly human face, except for the fact that they have mandibles instead of a jaw. The Skin of the Druth is actually a sort of Exoskeleton, a strange development, as they also have an Endoskeleton, this makes the Druth highly durable, However, the Druth are very big believers in convention, and not very good at thinking on the fly.
