This is part of :SenshiStock’s 3rd annual Draw Everything June Challenge.
The challenge is simple: draw something based on all the reference pics that Senshi posts in the month of June.
Toa Nokama was one of the first things that came to mind when I was studying this pose.
It gave me an excuse to try to draw a Bionicle again. :lol:
Yes, I know, I gave her hair, and not even the movie model had hair. This is stylized in my style, which is why she doesn’t have any gray on her like her set form, and she’s mostly a uniform blue color.
In retrospect, maybe I should’ve given her red hair to match the original set’s eye piece…oh well.
Trivia: in both of her DTV appearances, Toa Nokama was voiced by Tabitha ST. Germain, the voice actress for the characters Rarity, Granny Smith, and Luna in the newer My Little Pony TV shows. She also was one of the three voice actors to play the role of Nazz in Ed, Edd n Eddy. She also has done voice work in Voltron Force, Lego: Ninjago, Transformers: Armada, Cybertron & Energon, and Gundam 00.
