Transformers survival of the lost

“Slag. What a shame.”
Railfire says, examining the body.

Load walks into the medical bay.

It was a blue SUV con, killed in the same way as the seeker, albiet without the wing wounds for obvious reasons

“Whoever this murder is, I fear for us all until he is found.”

Load nods.

“Mind checking 'round the sparkchamber for carbon scoring, doc?” he requests. The presence of carbon scoring in and around the sparkchamber would indicate that the spark had been extinguished. If no such scoring was present, then the spark had to have been removed somehow.

OOC: this is actually canon. It’s mentioned in Beast Machines.

Railfire does so.

@Ace

Load hoped his theories were incorrect.

The chamber itself was destroyed, so such detail was uncheckable

“There’s nothing here to examine. The chamber is destroyed.”
Railfire tells Load.

Load mutters a curse. That didn’t do much to assure him.

Alpha tried to think of what did he know that the two murder victims had in common aside from the glaringly obvious like the fact that they were both Decepticons. (@Ace)

He had to keep this thought process unbiased; easier said than done.

The atmosphere in the “Shot”-gun was silent and uneasy. Having an anonymous murderer running loose around the ship tended to have that effect.

“I bet it was the slagging VTOL autobot.” Muttered a decepticon as he took a sip

“Let’s not get into this again, please,” Lock requests.

Alpha decided that talking with others could help him figure out what was going on. The basics of investing were pretty consistent between finding what’s wrong with an artillery cannon and this but the fact that it was a person and not a piece of equipment was where the differences reared their head.

He heads over to the Shot-gun via the same route he took when he went to his room from there; crawling with security and surveillance. He kept his guard up, just to be on the safe side and had his distress beacon ready to activate if he got jumped.

Load watches Railfire perform his autopsy.

“think about it, he tells her off and the next moment he’s dead.”

“It’s suspicious, I will agree,” Lock levels with the trooper, “but she was here when the seeker had to have been killed.”

“there could be two.”
