Transformers survival of the lost

Lock was already on his way to the airlock.

“Believe me, I have countless other places I’d rather be.”
Railfire said on his way out. He headed for the captain’s quarters.

OOC: Has the door been fixed yet?

Load continues to observe, looking for anything out of the ordinary or anybody acting suspicious.

“Leave the doctor alone to do his work, please.” Alpha said. He didn’t like what Railfire said but he could see the reasoning behind it.

“Well excuse me that I also have a job that needs attention, especially considering that I’m a man down.”

“What work?” Lock calls from the hallway. He was carrying the body out to an airlock.

Railfire continued to look for the captain.

“And, for now, Railfire’s is the highest priority.” Alpha reminds her, a patient tone to his voice.

He saw that the body was removed and began to leave, seeing no need to remain.

He rejoins Lock.

Lock arrives at an airlock.

@MaxinePrimal “Is it possible to access the memory core of this guy?” he asks Railfire. “Just to pluck out the brain module and give it a look?”

Alpha joins them. “That’s probably wise; granted that’s presuming the killer didn’t cover that set of tracks.” He said.

“I currently lack the equipment to both extract the memory core, and play its contents.”

“Shouldn’t that be as simple as taking off the head and plugging it into a computer?” Alpha asks, unfamiliar with the procedure in question.

Lock sighs and gets ready to open the airlock.

“Autopsies turn up nothing, interrogations are turning up nothing, constant surveillance can’t catch this guy in the act, for frak’s sake…”

“Would it be wise to request the captain give everyone security escorts for their safety?” Alpha asked. If everyone possible had a security escort it could make it much harder for the killer to keep killing and make it more likely to make them slip up as there would be more potential witnesses in play.

“Removing memory components is a delicate procedure. One that I currently cannot preform with the state of my medical bay. Though it shouldn’t be too long before I have the necessary equipment repaired. I would have this body kept until I can remove the memory components, but that is far too great a risk.”

“Load could help out a bit more,” Lock says. “Post more guards, order everybody to travel in pairs, that sort of thing.”

Alpha nods, “may I take a look?” He asks. “I may be able to find if any explosives are on this corpse.” He explains. Checking for bombs was standard procedure in artillery maintenance; these could range from being random misalignments that could lead to an explosive malfunction or deliberately placed bombs in the weapons. This was still an active war and the risks and threats of potential sabotage were in play.

“Believe me. If they were hidden well enough for me to miss, you have no chance of finding anything. The sooner this body is disposed, the better.”

“With all due respect, I have had to check nearly every bolt, circuit and component in the artillery I’ve inspected; I think I would know what to look for.” He said. He didn’t want to sound insulting to the doctor but he did have areas of expertise he didn’t.

“I am a medical professional, and you Autobot, are a suspect. Let me do my job, and you do yours.”
Railfire said, starting to get a little angry.
