Transformers survival of the lost

Alpha worked fast and got away from the area around the airlock. He downloaded all the data he could from the drone, it wasn’t much more as it was doing all it could to stay attached to the wall and he had been recording the data the drone was collecting during the scan.

He opens an access panel and tries to activate the internal shields to seal off the airlock from the rest of the ship.

“Note to self: find Haliaetus and Load so I may be questioned and give a full statement about what happened; if I am told to relinquish all the data the drone found, I shall give up every bit freely and without any tampering.” He said to himself.

Load heads for his office. He figures he should start making use of it now that he was taking his position more seriously.

Alpha began heading to the Security station to arrange his questioning and such on what happened at the airlock. And to also put as much distance between himself and the damaged airlock as possible. He is on his guard as he is heading there.

Load was sitting in front of several monitors, watching the cameras. His holographic interface was also active, just in case.

He would be able to see Alpha making his way to him on there.

Load waved him in.

Alpha walked in. “I’d like to submit myself for questioning and to give a report and statement on what has happened.” He told him, cutting to the chase.

“Alright,” Load responds. He motions to an empty chair. “Take a seat.”

Alpha nods and complies.

“Well, go on,” Load requests.

“When Railfire left, I had Lock put the body in the airlock and not eject it so I could scan for explosives.” He began. “I was almost finished when it went off and I sent the captain an alert about it, secured myself, the drone and Lock to prevent us from getting hurt.” He said.

“The airlock is badly damaged and needs immediate repairs. I formally and sincerely apologize for my actions as they may have caused us to go even more off course than we already were.” He then ejected a drive. “I have all the data the drone collected on here; as far as I know, it has not been tampered with in any way.” He told Load, offering the drive to him.

Load takes the drive.

“Alright, thanks for the report,” he says. “I’ll be sure to look this over. Anything else?”

Alpha nods, “I wish to remain under constant guard to ensure and prove I am not the culprit.” He said. “As an Autobot, I am a suspect and wish to prove I am innocent and willing to help bring the killer to justice in any way I can.”

“Well, I can’t give you escorts, unfortunately. Captains’ orders. But, I can recommend that you stay with Lock and the other trustworthy crew members.”

Alpha nods, “Where can I find Lock?” He asks.

“Well, according to camera eighteen, he’s trying to round up a repair team for that airlock.”

“May I remain here until he is done with that task?” Alpha asks.

“Actually, under the new rules, he needs somebody to accompany him around the ship.”

“A Decepticon, not an Autobot, is supposed to do that.” Alpha reminded him politely.

Load produces a sound similar to a tongue click.

“Okay, then stay here, if you’d like.”
