“Do you have an EMP?” Seraphicon asked, “it can be used to slow down and/or stun Underbase so we can safely get Beta Maxx out of it.”
“no, the twins have it.”
“And you can’t think of a way to improvise one?” He asked, “Doctor Rai’kaiser?”
The apparatus connecting Beta to the Underbase digs further into the Minicon to secure him.
The cable snakes around Sol as it rushes to pierce his cranial unit.
Two more rise from the machinery beneath the catwalk and dart toward Seraphicon and Zip.
“I’m a chemist, not an engineer.” His helmet kept the tenticle out as he continues pulling
Zipline grabs onto the cable and tries to rip it from its source.
Seraphicon slashes at the tendrils with his katanas.
Warya was studying the cables connected to Beta, while invisible.
The cable writhes, struggling against Zipline’s hold.
The tendril attacking Seraphicon is bisected.
The harder he pulled, the more the apparatus dug into Beta Maxx, causing Energon to spurt from where they jutted into the minicon.
Warya was searching for a way to unplug the cables.
It seemed the only way to do so was to tear them out of Beta Maxx, however the Underbase was doing all in its’ power to prevent that. The drones from outside begin to encroach upon the hole in the dome.
Cargo leaps in, aiming a slice at Zip’s attacker.
“Say, anyone have a relic we can use?” Zip suggests.
Sol took his sword and began cutting away the cables
Primus, we could use some help please; we need to get Beta Maxx out of this and have his mind and body as whole as possible. What do we need to do? he silently prayed as he tried to fend off the threats that were around him.
This appeared to be working, however it prompted the drones outside to begin pouring into the chamber.
Warya tried to cut the cables
Seeing this he increased his pace
With Warya and Sol’s efforts combined, Beta Maxx is soon cut free. The drones clatter to the floor, and the Underbase gives one final roar of fury before it shuts down, and almost all the core level along with it.
“Does anyone have a CPP cable?” Seraphicon asks as he runs towards Beta Maxx.
Beta Maxx was in stasis, and there was no CPP equipment available.
