Maximus and Bombor keep walking east, past the horde of drones. Then they reached the giant turtle guarding the mask.
“Direwolf, we have a visual on the mask. Please come to our location as soon as you can.” @Traykar
Then he fiddled with his comm system, trying to find the turtle’s frequency, so he could talk to it.
“Howdy there. I see that you’re pretty protective of that mask there, but we really need it. So would you mind if I borrowed it for a while?”
In a screechy voice it replied, “no,” oddly enough not using it’s radio

“Oh, um, okay. Could you tell me what you find so interesting about it?”

“Ha ha. Very funny. But fine. I am Maximus Primal, and this is my friend Bombor.”
“Wow. You are a big one aren’t you. Well thank you for being so… cooperative. Now if you would kindly allow a moment for me and my friend to chat? Thanks.”
He then fiddled with his comms so that only Bombor could hear, but still whispered just in case.
“Alright. Here’s the plan. You go over there and make a huge explosion. While shell face is distracted, I’ll grab the mask. Got it?” @ponywarriorttv
