I don’t think the masks are just made of the crystals, so maybe different molds and metals could have made the masks that the website referenced. Also I don’t know if we can assert that this is told by Kopaka because I read it as an objective account whereas Kopaka suggested their age.
They didn’t say the masks were made from crystals they said that the crystals power the masks.
