Typical Writing Environment?

As the title says, I was wondering if there was a certain environment you like to work in when writing books and serials

For example:
Do you listen to any music while writing and if so, what genre?

Is there are a certain room you like to be in or a chair you like to sit in?

Is your desk (if you use one) organized or is it messy?

Do you write most of your stories on the computer or do you write them by hand?

I write everything on PC. My desk tends to be messy. I have traditionally had one room dedicated as an office wherever I have lived. I did use to listen to music when I wrote, but I generally don’t anymore. It can be an inspiration, but also a distraction.

I do miss my typewriter, yes. I don’t miss liquid paper.
