It started a week ago with this video:
Now, as of yesterday, Japan responded with this:
My friend told me about this, and I didn't believe him. Boy, am I wrong.
Oh, Japan. Never grow old.Seriously, this is why we left England. It wouldn't let us play with the others.
thus the day USA vs JAPAN via robots became a real thing
they should totally hold tournaments with these mechs that decide things
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm super excited now. Hopefully this becomes a major tournament eventually. Heck, even part of the olympics, Giant mech fights need to be normalized.
I look forward to this.
I'm freakin' reggi to see this go down.
Well, that is like America, but whatever, just wait for our Strayan kangaroo robot...
Dude, Robot Wars was British.
Perhaps it was (it definitely was), but taxes on importation from anywhere but England where 3 high 5 us, so we left because they wouldn't let us robot fight with anyone else. It was just too high for them to do so./jk
I know, I know. But the thing is that mecha fighting isn't a trade but more of a motor sport.
Thus the /jk at the end.
Canada would beat them both. VIVA LA CANADA!
EVERYONE! ITS HAPPENED! IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED!
I loved this. I hope other countries get in on this and that this becomes some sort of new sport.
This was the most disappointing thing I've ever seen in my life.I wish they used the lucha underground method and just went all in on the kayfabe, ending this with one of the mechs exploding, killing the pilot inside as it cuts to his child swearing vengeance.
Words... not functioing... mouth hole... fffffwwwwaaaaa
As long as it stops being cheesy and scripted, I'm all in.
Its like Real Steel meets Pacific Rim,
