Vraievel

Not saying you stole anything, just saying I’d seen it, or something rather like it, before.

Very custom, very unique, very amazing!

Thank you very much! It’s always nice to know something you worked hard on came out good!

Although half a month later, I can’t shake a certain worry and I feel like clarifying on this because rereading, I fear I may have come across a little aggressive. I actually like it when people are called out for possibly stealing other people’s designs and ideas. It prevents MOC artists from feeding off each other too much, which would cause a certain degree of something akin to stagnation.

My matter-of-factual and possibly passive-aggressive response is due to the fact that we exist in a community where there are a lot of, shall we say, younger participants. And those kinds of people tend form an opinion very quickly on people. So as to avoid confusion, I shoot down incorrect… accusations (yours wasn’t really one at all but I can’t think of a more apt word right now) like I’m hunting ducks with anti-aircraft cannons.

Maybe I didn’t come across as such and my anxieties are playing up again. In any case, hope I didn’t scorn you, Brunamal =P

So allow me to be a horrible message board user and revive this thread. I made a MOC named Caius for a contest on MOCPages involving making Toa Hagah. This MOC - this Caius - was almost entirely a shamelessly repurposed from Vraievel. All the same, I think that he looks pretty okay, so I decided to post Caius here on TTV too, where he belongs, in the shadow of Vraievel’s thread.

So there’s Caius, a Toa Hagah of Iron. If you liked this guy’s style, you should see an older MOC of mine posted here last year, Roark the Ranger, whom this MOC was based heavily on.

I like it. The torso seems just a tad short though
