If the alternate Teridax is a being of Light with no power of Shadow, then what does his version of the Kraakhan do? Also, why is he unable to create a Light version of the Shadow Hand, or create Kraata that can turn into an equivalent of Shadow Kraata?

Teridax bears a golden Kanohi Kraahkan, the Mask of Shadows. He wears the mask in order to directly confront the looming presence of darkness, and to show that he can overcome it.[citation needed]
Oh well…
Actually, it’s not all bad that the Kraahkan still retains its powers. For a being of Light, the mask actually could have some uses. For one, it can sense moral darkness in others, meaning that it could be used as an effective tool for ferreting out enemies or future criminals.
