What I use for Referencing Animations

If you’re wondering how I animate, this is what I use for references in animation, an app called “The Animator’s Survival Kit.”
The author is Richard Williams who is famous for creating the 2d animation, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” You can find the app on the appstore for 30 dollars. The techniques can be applied to any form of animation, 2d, 3d, and stop motion.

Time to look for scans of the app.

Richard Williams is a talented animator and the Animator’s Survival Kit is a good resource for studying the basic principles of animation. The app has a bunch of good example animations presented both in camera time and cut down frame by frame.
