It was something along the lines of the fact that despite his spoiled disrespectful behavior to his parents, his sadistic attitude in dealing with the robbers, and his use of parents’ assets to live like a king while they were gone, he didn’t really suffer other than being scared, which was easily cured by, once again, sadistic behavior

Huh. I guess I never thought about it that way.
I mean there’s a reason why Saw fans have the joke theory that Kevin became John Kramer later in life.
