I really like the way this looks. Have you thought about adding some small blue lights to give a nice contrast to the orange. Also since the sun is behind the towers shouldn’t the side we are looking at be more in shadow?

Given that “good-guy” forerunner structures have blue lights, the thought had occurred to me, however I have been doing a lot of concept art with light blue/teal and I didn’t want to just keep repeating myself (although I gather blue isn’t the only colour the forerunners used, so who knows, I might add some green lights later). In terms of shadow, I’m still getting my head around concept artwork, and felt having them in shadow would be somewhat underwhelming as you wouldn’t be able to make out all the details. (granted, shadows could’ve added to the mystery factor). Thanks for your input.
