Im crying too
it makes me really sad because i love LDD it allows for Test concepts without the parts
i believe they only update it for MAC now

The current version for MAC is 4.3.8
The current version for PC is also 4.3.8
However there is a disclaimer on the download page which can be viewed here.
“Disclaimer
LEGO Digital Designer version 4.3 is not available on PowerPC Macs. To allow PowerPC users access to their models, we have made a special version of 2.3.20 available exclusively for that architecture.”
