Umarak, sacrificed as part of Makuta’s plan, was no more. But the shadowy power that raised him as an avatar to hunt the Toa’s elemental avatars still lived. And having found this dark spirit, the Skull Caster has convinced them to form another manifestation to suppress the other overgrown seven elements.
To this end, the shadowy moose known as Attarak was formed. It slinks in and out of darkness, spying on the Protectors and all those with elemental power. Conspiring new ways to keep them in check and lessen their strength by stripping them of gold.
The body for this one also started as one of the hippo, rhino, or deer body type possibilities for the fire creature. But this direction ended up being more fun…That and the limited color options of that add-on piece.
This is where the group photos were supposed to be, but I still haven’t caught a break to take the photos. But soon.
What? Moose? I mean… I suppose an antlered turtle is a little strange… Although our dear shadowed friend has back legs double the length of his front ones. But at least his uniter piece is silver to match the antlers, which form a nice decorative collar under his chin.
I like the usage of the protector foot as the head. I’ve tried to do it in the past, but failed to, so it is good to know it was just a skill issue that stopped me, not impossibility.
@Ghid Ain’t ever accused of knowing anatomy. Though I’ve also never been bothered by the long limbs of the Inika builds.
@RedPandalorian …My POV is that foot heads are usually the result of being lazy as they’re really easy for some cheap shaping and bulk. Especially for smaller MOCs like this one, where System might have been better for head shaping. But maybe I’m just too use to G1 Rahi design to see the difficulty in foot heads.
@Zhyndea Thanks! …Oh right, and thanks to the others as well!
