Babylon, the Sage of Life

The start of a little project that I might or might not ever finish.

Millennia ago, humanity drove itself to extinction, wars were fought constantly and eventually led to what was essentially the destruction of the entire world. With the world in ruin, seven sages were send down from the sky to rebuild the world. Babylon was the fourth sage to be send down to earth. Babylon was send to bring life back this dead world. He used his powers to let plant life grow once again and have all kinds of different animals inhabit earth.
After the seven sages rebuild the world, one of the sage made a mistake, a mistake that would change the way humanity lives, and led to a civil war between the sages. The civil war used up all of the sages their energy that kept them on earth. Six of the seven sages died, the only survivor was Babylon, who managed to use his powers of life to keep himself on earth. Now, millennia later, Babylon regained his full power, and has started his plan to erase the mistake that was made, to fix what went wrong all these years ago.

I’m liking this one. The color blocking makes him looks pretty dang good. My main complaint is, if this is meant to be a “he”, you might want to make the chest a bit flatter.

Nice job! The build is overall very cohesive, with the possible exception of the upper arms.

Yeah… I realized that when building him. But I liked the design alot so i didn’t really want to change it, so i kinda just saw it as being armor from another world as he isn’t human anyway.

I really love the general appearance of this guy, especially those shoulders and his staff. My one complaint would be that the waist looks a tad odd; why exactly I can’t quite lay my finger on.

I don’t like the upper arms and lower legs, they look skinny compared to the rest of him. I love the rest, though. Especially that staff. Man, that staff…

Color is on point. Parts used, also on point. Great moc as expected from you :stuck_out_tongue:
Looking forward to your next project!

*insert self-depreciating joke here *

This is really good, the colors are on point and the staff is awesome. However, there are a few things on the MOC that I feel could be better.

The skull bits on the upper legs, they look kind of loose, hindering the very organic feel of the MOC.
Trans blue spikes on the knee area, maybe white would be better
The chest protrudes a bit too far forward, this is a big deal at all and I know what you were going for, so it’s not that bad
Lastly, the back is really Technic-y

that being said, there are a lot of things this MOC does amazingly. The “ruffles” in the “fabric” on the arms and legs, how the blue looks like armor (as opposed to the white parts) and those shoulder pads to name a few.

looks epic, nice work

Well, bye bye. /s

This is a really nice MOC! It is very solid with a nice and unique choice of colors, neat story, and nice use of parts.

Wow…wow…wow This creation is amazing, very interesting colors, awesome build and the uniqueness is certainly present, it also seems very organic. 11/10 for me.

Looks wonderful

The weapon is fantastic and the MOC overall is cohesive but those feet don’t thrill me too much.

“Bye, Bye, Babylon”

Sorry, I just really wanted to make that joke

Anyways, he looks great. Nice job

Wow! I love this! The shapes, the colors, the weapon! All fantastic! Great work!

Very, very solid.
And I love the helmet, I always have liked the Tarix one.

This may be my favorite MOC ever. at first I thought that the brown staff would clash, but, surprisingly it doesn’t, and it also fits with the wonderful story. Beautiful!

P.S. Am I seeing a reference to the hanging gardens of Babylon?

Wow, just Wow, this moc is very well build, all the parts move so smooth to get a very normal and human looking body. Well done
