That’s actually a really smooth transition. I’m surprised.
But eh, I dunno if this needed to happen, the Barraki Movie was cool enough on its own. Mahri Movie’s just okay.
My favorite Mahri was always Jaller, Set and Character.
As for Barraki, story-wise is Takadox, but my favorite set was Carapar.
Of the titans, Gadunka’s mah boy.

It was more of an experiment than anything, but I think it came out alright.
I always loved the Mahri one, it had this sort of modern spec ops vibe that made it stand out. The Mahri just had a good style, though I’m pretty sure Hahli has a male voice in it, but I can’t be sure.

Matoro sounds so dark, when I first saw the commercial before I looked up the story behind the Mahri, I thought that he was betraying the team and stealing the mask for himself, just because of the way he says that final line.

Honestly, this was and the Inika are my all time favorite lines. The Barraki are sooo awesome! their story, their design, their canisters, everything! Ehlek is my favorite set for that line. But I also really liked Nuparu.
The Barraki mini-movie has a great atmosphere, while the Mahri one has some really awesome shots and dialogue. Excellent transition BTW.

My favorite canister Barraki is probably Takadox. My favorite Mahri set was Jaller, though my favorite Mahri for their story is Matoro. My favorite Barraki Titan is definitely Gadunka and my favorite non-Barraki titan is Hydraxon. I really wish I could have got my hands on those two titans.

IKR. for the longest time i thought matoro was evil and was trying to steal the mask for makuta (Maxilos at this time), until the last comic where he ended up sacrificing himself to save mata-nui. Needless to say I was confused as HELL.
