Bexunu was one of the few surviving Toa of Magnetism by the time of the Great Cataclysm. Prior to the Restoration of Spherus Magna, he worked on a two-man Toa team indirectly employed by the Order of Mata Nui. After coming to Spherus Magna, he and his partner continued their work in order to maintain the fragile peace between the Agori and Matoran.
Bexunu is especially strong compared to most Toa by virtue of his natural elemental power and experience. His Toa “tools” are dual axes made from a ferromagnetic alloy of protosteel. He can use his elemental powers to retrieve his axes from a distance and throw them at great speeds. Bexunu wears a Kanohi Huna which he uses for reconnaissance and to give him an edge in combat.
