Well, in my country, we have to wait couple more months after “worldwide” release til the sets are on shelves. 
First 2015 wave appeared here in late March, and summer wave just came in late September. And they’re also more expensive. 
You sad sap. For 2015, the winter sets arrived/hit shelves in I think mid/late February-ish. The summer sets, funnily enough, arrived the day before their release

They wern’t released world wide, they get released according to what time it is on your account or what time zone it auto locates you in.
Ah, finally ordered two of Gali and two of Akida! Now, I find it strange that it’s January first in the US, and 31st here in Europe (and more, I think?).
