BIONICLE 2016 Discussion Topic

@Chronicler At first someone was talking about them in relation to the 2016 sets (wondering why they aren’t used instead of the waist swivel), but quickly devolved from there. XD

Anyway, what type of aesthetics do we all want to see from the beasts? LEGO has done a lot of Technic integration this year, so is it possible that we might see some CCBS '01 Rahi hybrids (conceptually, of course)?

I would love to see one that’s like a Muaka or a Tarakava, personally.

well there is one thing I’m sure about. it should not be a scorpion…

a muaka or tarakava would be awsome

A Muaka inspired beast would be pretty sweet. I think it’d be interesting to see something Puku inspired though. That function was really neat for its time.

what other element apart from earth is quake beast supposed to be?

@Darknova3529 Well, we don’t even know if they’re combinations like everyone has assumed. Right now it’s just speculation and headcanon.

Edit: Only two scorpions man, but yeah, both have problems. Those problems in question also happen to be in their tail design. XD

Truly, I am interested to see how the normal creature functions work.

I think Akida’s function will be getting the propellers to flip so they can work for Gali, but I’m not so sure about the other functions besides Ikir.

I think Ikir’s function will be flapping it’s wings.

by pressing the tails you activate their functions

with terak you have to move the tail from side to side

@Chronicler I have no idea where I got this from, so I can’t source anything (take it with a grain of salt), but I read somewhere that Terak has a digging function, Melum has a hugging basher function, and Ketar has an arm function… when you push its tail.

I want a crab, a lizard, and… um… whatever rahi was in Onu Koro.

I’m pretty sure that the beasts will all share the same head, similar to the creatures.


Akida has a dual 6 shot function.

Ikir flaps his wings.

Uxar does this too.

I think Ketar’s massively awkward tweezers move by moving his tail, I don’t really know.

Terak has a downward smash.

Melum has a basher function.

You have to do the same with Ketar’s tail to activate the arms

didnt I say how the creatures’s fuctions works?
Ikir and Uxar = when you move their tails down their wings move up, and reversed
Terak, Melum = when you move their tails down their arms move up, and reversed
Akida = it has a bush on the side, when you spin it, the shooters move up and down
Ketar = when you move the tail to a side the arms move up and down
