Kopaka’s weapons switched in the concept art, guess he was never really intended as being a lefty.
As for the Mask Of Control on the stone - it looks better than what we got, though the horns look a little circular out on the body (guessing this is so it could form an ‘m’ symbol)
I swear it’s just gonna come out on valentine’s day so all us single nerds can enjoy something besides the big pokemon announcement too.
Who needs love when you have bonkles? I guess love isn’t canon for us eitherjust call me Mayple master of feels
I wish silver&gold disappear from the colorscheme, (I just changed the topic in 0,)
but I hate it, I wish we went back to the g1 colorschemes with the mata colors, I just don’t like how gold makes them look more important than the silvers ones,
These are concept arts. Don’t take them too seriousy. Lego decided to put the main weapons in the left hand for some toa in the offical sets which I really love. It was kinda boring that they always held them in the right hand.
I like the silver and gold, but I do think that sometimes it gets a little crazy.
Off topic, but my Kopaka’s gear system has gotten loose, he still squeaks, but when I rotate the gear it is super loose and at times the gears on the axle spread out and fall apart.
Not in the MU, but this is G2, so love is very canon.
@Mayple Dude love is canon in G2, that’s were all the Kopaka x Gali shipments came from haha. Seriously now, there are families all over Okoto, bingzak has parents.
While I agree they should do more variety (like how they tried with Kopaka this year, they shouldn’t remove gold and silver, just use them properly.
I do not have an issue with seeing gold next to silver and thinking “Woah, Tahu is waaaaay more important then Lewa”
I normally am attracted to sets with colors I enjoy, and seeing as Gold is not one of my favorite colors, nor a color I MOC with that often, I purchase the silver sets, because they have green, or blue, or in this years case, white.
I also like the metallic feel the silver armor gives sets, it makes them look like armored robotic beings, rather then the power rangers.
@Asriel I’m happy with the colour schemes we have right now. Tahu looks majestic, like an Aztec Warrior. The colours for me don’t make anyone set look more important.
@RaptorTalon how we managed to get power rangers into this discussion I have no idea
Some of G1’s colors would be great to see return, maybe in villain sets, they use the trans color of a Toa, as well as a darker metallic color, maybe we could see villains using darker versions of the Toa’s colors. like maybe Metru blue, Metru red, Metru green, brown, the like.
(Also cause I need more metru colored CCBS pieces)
Oh no, quick, change the topic now to Bionicle again.
@DiamondKing Yes, for me Tahu looks a lot like an Eagle warrior. Most of the Toa look like warriors from different cultures, I just don’t know which ones
Red, blue, green, white, trans orange, black. Need I say more?
@Jelarna Lewa is a Ninja (tonfas)
Kopaka is a knight (broadsword)
Gali is a hunter (spear)
Pohatu is a wastelander, or any group people used to think were uncivilized (overall theme)
Onua is a medieval stonemason/warhammer user (warhammer)
@Asriel mirroring a previous incarnation doesn’t make it stand on its own merits, therefore it will never become as great as the original. First lesson of reboots mate
