Bionicle Canon Contest #2: Meet the Maker, Part 2. Artakha by Hephaestus

Here’s my entry for the Artakha art contest in the comic book style!

The runes are written in the Great Being language, and they tell about journeys of Artakha. The mask is a reference to well-known forms of the other ones, and I like to think, that Artakha created them according to his own, as he insipred by it.

Good luck to all!

Very nice

I really like this entry. I like how the mask of creation is similar to the Hau since many believed he was Mata Nui and Mata Nui was represented by a Hau.

the art is nice but I feel like the mask is way too hau-like.

I’m curious how you connect that mask to a head. It remember me to Hewkii’s Garai

What font is that, I’ve been wanting to know for a long time

Maybe it’s the other way around and he keeps designing Haus to look like his mask.
And then he got to Lhikans Hau and was like “Are you sure they got the reference? Maybe I was too subtle.”
And then he made it painfully on-the-nose.
