BIONICLE combined with other materials [4] Arthropods!

This… this is heresy…
It hurts. BUT IT HURTS SO GOOD
Good work! My only criticism would be making the blobbish part a bit more defined instead of just a …blobbish part…

These look like designs for a Tim Burton produced Bionicle stop motion movie…

That’s disturbing.

It reminds me a little of the bug thing from the new Godzilla.

Imagine playing MNOG when all of a sudden you’re being chased by these things.

Spooky

Dude…
These are sick.
My favorite is this one:

Also, I bet you could actually publish this stuff because it is a metaphor for the corruption of childhood innocence or something.
I bet that wasn’t your intention, but it could work.

These were made for my art course, and the ‘meaning’ behind them was kind of mean to be all aspects of my childhood combined. Using elements from my interest in games, LEGO and insects / bugs.

A main element was me playing a game called Quake 4 when I was 8 years old and it absolutely terrified me (just look up Quake 4 stroggification on youtube). Though despite terrifying me, it started to work its way into my artwork when i was alot younger, and so for this art course I wanted to combine the horror elements of that into the more innocent aspects of my childhood.

This series of “MOCs” is both disturbing and very interesting.

I don’t think I’ve seen something done like this before, it’s a pretty cool concept.

I’d be interested to see what you’ve got for us next.

Is that tin foil? Also: good luck getting the paint off.

If you make more of these, perhaps strive for some more morphological accuracy. Not that these are bad, they’re excellent, but with combining it with “other materials” I think it would look even better being more accurate!
