Edit: that’s actually good to know if Naho has a contest: she specifically doesn’t wear a Kakama.

Trust me, you wouldn’t believe how many situations of accidental miss-numbering and spelling errors you see that make it look like a contradiction exists.
And that people seemed really hung up on the YQT masks. Like most of Orde’s questions were either about his mask or how a male Toa of Psionics could exist. Zaria so far is a similar situation

Though this is debatable if this happens to be during the time she had a Huna. @TheJerminator do you happen to know when the Huna was canonized/decanonized?

Thanks! There’s a mountain of quotes I’ve gotta sort through so any already known ones help a ton.
Also after I finish my first go through for the current CC characters, I’m gonna do a full dive to try and sort through the entire archive so we can find the quotes easier. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find out about a forgotten character or fact that was lost

Just for context, people were asking about the Kakama, specifically, because The Shadowed One found an old Kakama on the Great Barrier in Time Trap. Of course, we now know that this Kakama belonged to the Toa Mangai of Earth, not Naho.

The Toa Mangai of Earth is the one to have worn the Kakama. Naho’s mask is currently unknown (a fan named Lewa Krom asked for a Huna, got his wish, but rescinded the wish after some backlash; and a later poll had the Huna in position to win, but I guess by that point Greg wasn’t allowed by Lego to continue the official discussions anymore).
It was because BZPower lost a bunch of their archives and other content before the poll could be finalized.
Guys Greg never actually said Orde even wears a mask. That means there’s no canonical reason to mandate that Orde entries have a mask. Maybe he was too stubborn to wear a kanohi.

I didn’t actually know that. The only reasoning I had was from BS01’s section on incomplete contests, but I didn’t actually know if that applied to this one or not. Still, my point stands.
It is a little strange that the Stone Mangai never got a mask, but I guess he never will now.
I’ve been pushing for either Naho or Kodan to have a gray mask included in their contest, to represent the powered off mask the Stone Mangai wore. After all we canonized the others, why not his?
Additionally it would be gray so we didn’t have to canonize his color scheme

We could also just hold a poll for his mask like bzp used to do. We’re holding canon contests anyway. I’m not saying we should canonize masks for every Toa, but since he’s the only member of the team without one…
Could make another good “between contests” thing.

Actually that’s a great idea! I’ve also been saying do just a mask contest for the missing Noble Masks and Great Kiril so in between mask art contest/mask canonizing contests could be great.
What about a variant Pakari, shaped like one of the old hockey masks? Maybe he was from the southern continent like Lhikan.

Just out of curiosity, why would you specifically link the hockey masks with the Pakari, out of all the Kanohi out there? Why not the Hau, or even a new mask entirely?
