Tahu would probably react just like in Mnog where he gaps it and/or is hostile. Someone like Onua or Gali might act reasonable but likely the flight instinct would take first place. Whoever they are (besides Gali) once overboard they’d probably find themselves in a bit of a pickle, treading water. Perhaps they would wave down the next ship and get taken to another nation? Or just straight up pull a Transformers 2 and somehow hide on a boat…

Or just straight up Alien situation- alien being starts murdering everyone on the ship, but now it’s an near endless slaughter instead of horror on a ship
