What masks that you have seen elsewhere (cultures/movies/video games/etc.) make you think that they could exist in the BIONICLE universe?
For me, it would be metal band Behemoth’s Nergal’s mask from their music video “Ov Fire and Void”

Never knew Behemoth wore masks. I really only got into Behemoth from The Satanist onwards. I think Nergal also wore a mask in Deathless Sun music video?
You could practically design kanohi around black metal icons, and maybe King Diamond & Ghost’s aesthetics. Take the corpse paint patterns, and those are your new eye holes for your kanohi.
