Why did learning that the Matoran language being based off of maori bug you?

Probably because it meant that the seemingly fantastical names and titles from the early years of Bionicle were based on real-world things.

I recently saw a promo for something disney-related in a Youtube ad. It included a shop in a mall with Umbra in its name.

Also, Kai. Just throwing that out there. Lego reused a BIONICLE name.

I am evidently not weirded out easily.

Not really a Bionicle term, but in Biology i’m learning about different parts of the leaf, and there’s two parts called the spongy mesophyll layer and the palisade mesophyll layer
