boards are dying; hsh for the people, perchance?

If not for master perks, this topic title would still be ungrammatic.

Gotta agree tbh, although I tend to just go with the flow of current topics and find something constructive to say as they show up. It takes longer, but it’s more genuine.

However, there’s often a good number of new topics where I legitimately don’t have anything to say, or the topic itself disinterests me (like yet another snugooi artwork or anime discussion topic). I end up having to hope there isn’t an influx of these at a given time or I’m guaranteed to lose master.

This is definitely what make master the hardest for me, was it always this way even when the boards was popular?

Oh no, the sheer variety of topics meant there was always something to comment on that you actually cared about. Less people means less variety in what gets posted, and therefore less opportunity to genuinely obtain master.

This is why we gotta send the profile link to folks to get them to join the site guys

Honestly, i find little difference. I’ve gone through several cycles of losing and regaining master. Often i will have a couple of days where i spam replies to topics, but they’re topics from my new/unread, so they’re fairly recent (sometimes i’ll necropost on an old topic, but that’s more just for fun or i like the topic). When i wish to keep it, i just post on a new topic a day.

If anything it makes it less daunting to regain, because if i’m busy for a week or two, i might have 50 new/unread rather than 500.
