Oh man, I wish I’d seen this sooner! It’s awesome! I want to build my own and store my Star Trek blu rays inside it.
Alternatively, have you seen Star Trek: First Contact? Maybe you could add the time-travel sphere thingy in the center.

I thought about making a Borg Sphere but for now I am planing on building a 3ft. x 3ft. x3ft. Borg cube to bring to Brickfair Virginia either this year or next year. However, I will be bringing this to VA. this year if you want to see it.

It sounds crazy but the whole thing will probably be built the same way – five large slabs of plates covered in greebles. The only difference is that it will probably have a stronger frame.

Yes, it will mostly be a money challenge. If I can’t afford all 5 sides I will try to do at least 3 so it looks complete from at least one angle and make some kind of interior. If that is the case I will at least complete it by next year.
If you go on mocpages and look up “Blacktron II Battlecrusier W.I.P.” you can see that I have been working on a 9 ft long Blacktron II themed spaceship, and have already built 5 feet of framework and added some details.
So yes, i’m crazy
