Catholian TIE X-Wing Star Fighter

This is a crazy idea I had for a while.
This is a combination of Lego’s 75102 Poe’s X-Wing Fighter with the 75082 Tie Advanced Prototype

.I kinda pictured it as being part of my fan universe involving these guys.

This fighter was built in secret by the Catholians with plans to use it against the empire, based off of stolen plans for TIE Advanced fighters and TIE Interceptors.
Unlike its Imperial counterpart, the Catholian starship is heavily armed and armored, equipped with 6 laser cannons, and two proton torpedo launchers.
Some variants of this fighter were also fitted with hyperdrive should the need arise that they had to fight outside Catholian territory.

The ships also have folding wings, which remain folded against the craft during regular flight, but they unfold when they go in for the attack.

Only flaw I see is the area around the cockpit (in the front) looks a little flat.

The wings are currently my least favorite thing on this MOC, because they’re so small…I’ll probably tweak them sometime in the future.
