These are amazing, just amazing. You gave me a ton of inspiration with these MOCs.
They’re all good, but I’m not a big fan Terak. He’s a fine MOC, I just don’t picture his face with the creepy giant teeth. Also, is Uxar supposed to be an insect on a bird?

Well, I see a lot of comments regarding us reimagining the original creature concept too far. Well, you may be right, but we didn’t try to remake the initial designs from the beginning. We used the basic “animal spirits who can control elements” concept and it was only a fruit of our collective imagination after that.
I really like the comment by @Baldric about Akida pictured as a dolphin. I don’t think I would stick to this idea because the image of a fish as a water spirit is more common and recognizable IMHO. But now I want to build a dolphin out of Lego. Thanks for the inspiration.
@GIF_Man_Ben @Umarak oh, yeah, there’s a ton of illegal connections! Almost all of the connections with clip joints are not purist. All of it for the sake of beauty.

These are amazing but I can’t take this anymore. Why do people do revamps of sets that haven’t even been out a full year. I drives me nuts. But these are amazing. Curse you conflict of emotions!
Why should you wait the whole year to make a revamp?
(I can’t think of them as revamps, btw)

It just feels wrong to me. There exist revamps before some sets are even released. In my opinion, revamps are for older sets. It’s just odd, I don’t feel as if new sets need revamps yet.
Hmm, I see. Anyway, we three were just struck by inspiration and these six guys above don’t resemble the original sets that much. I don’t think of them as revamps.
As far as I know, revamps built befor the set release are often called prevamps.

Pretty interesting that Uxar looks more like a bird than Ikir.
These are all really cool takes on a different style for the creatures. Good job to you all. 
That’s actually what a revamp is, a nearly completely different take on an existing character.

Thanks for telling me your inspiration for akida . It just looked weird to me for 1, akida looks kinda like those bug eyed fish, instead of what I would have assumed to be a schooling fish. And 2, my limited knowledge and familiarity with the set. What sort of fish did you base the design off of anyway?

Terak looks pretty good, but I think Terak is supposed to be a mole and not a… thing. (I guess if they are reimaginings then they don’t have to look like what the original set was trying to be)
Ikir looks like a bird now. which is good
Melum looks awesome. It just looks like a polar bear + kangaroo now.
Ketar looks like a scorpion still. Yaaaaaaaay.
