COMMUNITY POLL FOLLOWUP: Will canisters ever come back?

So, in an earlier topic I asked you if you thought that the boxes issued with the 2015 sets were, well… less than appealing, and the overwhelming answer was yes. Now, I ask a new question- do you all think we will ever see canister Bionicle sets come back, whether it be in summer 2015 or a later year, or are they done for good? I’d love to hear your opinions.

Naah, I don’t think so. Maybe with small sets.

Correct me if I am wrong
But this is not the question you asked in you previous topic

The question in the previous topic was
“were you going to keep the boxes as collectibles”

Which isnt asking if anyone liked them, but was asking if they would keep them…

But anyways
I will say no, because lego stated that boxes/bags are cheaper, and more ecofriendly

I highly doubt it.

[/quote]That’s why.

Besides, canisters sometimes are clunkier.

I think they will have canisters in the near future.

As much as would hope so, probably not.

As long as they beef up the cardboard, I’m happy. I really like the shape of the new boxes.

I doubt it. LEGO uses bags now for their CCBS themes because they’re cheaper and more friendly to the envionrment.

Well, yes, this is true, but I was basing this question around the responses I received… :stuck_out_tongue: guess I could’ve worded that much better.

I doubt it.

Nah, they won’t be back.

Make your own canisters out of water bottles

I doubt they’re going to go back on a way to cut cost, it just wouldn’t make sense for them.

I would say that there is a 99.9% probability that canisters won’t be back.

No they wont, the end.

I hope not.

Probably not. More cost effective with boxes.

I doubt they will, but I kind of wish they would. On the other hand, while I’m hardly a tree-hugger, the eco-friendliness of the box is something I can get behind.

I think I might just try that out some time in the future…

I got an idea:

cardboard canisters
