Community Project: The World of Okoto

Hello Everyone!

So, I’ve been tossing this up for a while, and I’ve reasoned that, since Lego isn’t necessarily world building to the extent which we’d like, why don’t we just do it ourselves?

So, here’s the brief:

This is a project for unnamed characters, rahi, plants, kanohi, etc.
Nothing which conflicts with the story, and preferably characters which aren’t named within it.
Simply to build a world, without making it too complex (e.g. not to the level of named weapons for a toa team never seen, and practically unknown before we ‘asked Greg,’ more to the level of having some more interest within the island).

So, post below a MOC, some Art, and/or some writing (Preferably no more than 300 words, kind of like a blurb from the old bionicle dictionary). I will then, every week or so, compile all the contributions into a pdf somewhat like the old dictionary.

So, get to it! I’ll post some stuff as well, once I’ve finished it :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S. Mods, if this is in the wrong topic, please change.

Well, I’ll start with something:

Crater of the fallen
This is where Ekimu and the corrupted Makuta fought, and where Ekimu knocked the Mask of Ultimate power off Makuta’s face. The resulting shockwave is was so powerful it created the Crater of the fallen, a massive crater visible on the map, which now lies submerged on the coast of the region of stone.

Is this good?

The great bridge of the fire region
This was going to be the first part in an effort to make a series of bridges linking all of Okoto’s regions to the City of the Mask Makers. However, before finishing the bridge to the Fire Region’s greatest volcano, the duel between Ekimu and Makuta killed most of the workers. The survivors vowed to never go to the bridge ever again, and most people now agree that the area is bad luck, so they stay away.

I might work on a video series to act as an unofficial G2 Bionicle Dictionary, so anything I see here I might try and add to that. I’m also working on my own bits of lore, so I’ll add those when I get them done!

Faberli, the Time Spirit

Even when Ekimu and Makuta still worked at the Forge together, there were legends of a being who told of the lands that came before Okoto. Most of the writings from this fabled being were untranslatable to Okoto’s language, but some writings were deciphered, such as a “world in a body”, and a “water cord”. No one knows of his existence for sure, but the legend is still passed around in the Region of Water.

The Rahkshal are a magic-attuned, but less technologically and culturally advanced than the Okotans. They are naturally distrustful of strangers, speak in hisses and clicks, among other things. The protectors have learned to keep the peace between their peoples, as the Rahkshal prefer solitude and a war would be disastrous for both sides.
