When it comes down to it, some people build with complexity to simply impress, while others use it in order to make a certain shape or look with a MOC. The latter I vastly prefer.
I don’t mind simplicity, but if a MOC looks better with some more complex or unique builds, I will definitely applaud the builder for that.
It’s like how my brother enjoys using old clunky BIONICLE pieces to make something complex and make it look good. That is what I like to see. A ton of creativity is what I always enjoy to see with a MOC.
People online always confuse the word “complex” with “detailed”.
“Wow look at Likus’ mocs, they’re so complex” I see people say. No, most of them are simple frames with patterns over them to add detail. They are not complex at all. Only one of my mocs is even remotely complex and that is the Shadow Lion due to its moving function.
You had put nothing in the discussion and yet had made a completely pointless comment just to spite me, There is nothing to discuss further, its a big fat no, and anyone who says otherwise has an opinion that is elitist (and I mean that honestly since anyone can make a good moc, regardless of complexity). Can you not understand that part or do you wish to see more of the same pointless comments for an answer we already have.
Exactly, @JoeScibelli
Ya gotta hear both sides to the story.
And I suggest you stop claiming that this thread is closed, @TeslaEffect, before this turns into a flamewar and this thread ACTUALLY gets shut down.
It’s literally a discussion board. The only way discussion ends if a question is properly answered. But this has no strait answer. This is about opinion. Therefore discussion WILL continue, and you will NOT tell people when to end it. Your opinion is not the only viable one here.
