Yep, she’s a tortoiseshell.
Her mother was a calico, with this really cool fur pattern… half her face was orange-ish and half her face was black, and she had symmetrical black, orange, and white patches on her body.

I love those. There’s always a few flying around my house during the summer.
Seeing the feline recalls to memory a childhood incident of witnessing a family member rush in with a wooden plank to save a wild cat fighting with a snake.
I remember hearing strange noises nearby and looking into the forest area to find a cat pawing at something. When looking a bit closer, I saw a snake positioned upright, moving back and forth hissing in front of the cat as if to strike. After the snake received a smack from the wooden plank, the cat gave off what I suppose was a thank you meow before trailing off into the woods. The cat would later return on multiple occasions, though I never could pin down when it would visit, I remember it would rest between pottery. It was of light grey fur and to this day I still have not figured where did it come from, but happy nonetheless that for a time there was a visitor.
This is really beautiful.
What happened to that Rabbit’s ear? How did this poor animal get it’s ear notched like that?
What gender is the rabbit? How old is the fella? I am just curious.
Jellybean is female and she’s almost six years old
