For those of you don’t know, this is an old kaiju character of mine, Dragira, a gigantic fire breathing marine reptile.
(I say old because I first came up with him well over 10 years ago…)
One time I even built him as a MOC…a very terrible MOC I might add…

Dragira has evolved considerably over the years. originally he was a semi-aquatic bipedal theropod dinosaur with long arms similar to spinosaurus from JP3 or Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla. In newer iterations he has developed into a semi-quadruped marine reptile, similar to the Rhedosaurus from the Beast From 20,000 Fathoms.
This new design takes inspiration from marine dinosaurs, particularly beasts like Nothosaurus and Plesiosaurus.
Through all of his design changes I’ve put him through, the only thing to remain the same has been the three spikes upon his back.
Though to be honest, I haven’t taken much time to develop his story, other than belonging to a species that inhabit an unexplored island chain in the south Pacific, and he got very angry from the nuclear bomb tests in the area…yeah it needs a lot of work…
